‘Tis the season to be spooky!
You all know by now that fall (specifically “spooky” season”) is my all-time favorite. Everything from the cozy sweaters to pumpkin spice coffee every morning — I live for it all.
I had so many obsessions this month, but I narrowed it down to my top six, so grab some coffee, light a candle and let’s take a look at my monthly obsessions for October.
Maple Kettle Corn
Don’t get me started on this delicious kettle corn that fell straight from heaven. I look forward to having a bowl of this kettle corn every weekend for my movie night. It’s vegan-friendly and brings home all the fall vibes.
Pumpkin Spice Creamer
I’ve been searching for the almond pumpkin spice creamer I got last year since the beginning of October and it was nowhere to be found until a friend suggested to me to try a local grocery store called Vons — and lo and behold, I found it.
Even though I didn’t get to enjoy it when the calendar struck October 1st, I’m grateful I have it now (and I made sure to get enough to last me until the end of November… hopefully).
Vlogging
Besides blogging, I actually spend time filming and editing videos. I’ve always loved doing that, but for some reason I’ve been on fire this month.
Apple Autumn Soap
I’ve been really obsessed with this small shop on Etsy called Hippy Heart Natural. All the products are natural and vegan-friendly so of course I have to support this amazing business. As I was making another purchase of their turmeric face mask, I stumbled upon their variety of soap bars.
Everything from pumpkin spice to vanilla oatmeal, you are likely to find one you’d like to try out. I chose to try the apple autumn soap and it smells amazing. I can’t wait to try other scents soon!
Vegan Donuts
So recently I went to this coffee joint called Dark Horse Coffee Roasters. Not only does it fit the whole “Halloween vibe” I got going on but it also sells VEGAN donuts!
I ordered the salted maple cold brew with the vanilla charcoal donut and I couldn’t stop raving about how good the combination was. My friend also enjoyed her matcha latte and pumpkin spice donut.
Hygge playlist
If you have no idea what hygge is, let me redirect you to this blog post, but if you’re all caught up then my last monthly obsession is hygge music.
I’m still in the process of creating my own playlist, but in the meantime I’ve been listening to this one every day and it brings me the most wonderful feelings.
I’m sad to see October leave us, but she was definitely fun to spend time with. Goodbye October and hello November.
